Greening Greenwood

alt As part of moving into our future in a thoughtful and sustainable way, greening efforts have come to the forefront in Greenwood‟s vision for our future. Leadership of our greening efforts has emerged organically among teachers, staff, students, parents, and board members. Our vision is strategic in terms of long-term financial sustainability and it is passionate in terms of the commitment we have to our environment.

Our vision, in light of Friends' testimonies:

to be witnesses for environmental and financial stewardship and live in harmony with the natural world upon which we depend.
to live simply and create a climate of equality in which we are all entitled to a healthy future and a peaceful planet.
to be examples of integrity, so that our words and actions speak with one voice.
